We make lovingly crafted soaps, body scrubs, and nourishing creams designed to help care for dry skin, leave your skin feeling soft and glowing, and make your daily routine feel a little more special.

Products
We are a small business located in Chicagoland that prides itself on delivering high quality products. Every batch is thoughtfully formulated with responsibly sourced clean ingredients (without phthalates and toxins), plant-based oil, rich in antioxidants butters and botanical extracts. Our soap is made in small batches in traditional cold process method using natural premium ingredients. We love and widely use olive oil, avocado oil, safflower oil for their properties and feel on skin. It is cut by hand, which results in each bar being one of a kind.
About the Maker
Hi! I’m Joanna, the founder of IRIY INDEED. I’m a formulator, creator and designer of my products from beginning to end. Behind the scenes is my husband who stands by my side and supports me by helping with all of the back end business work. He keeps things tidy, something he learned during his 20 years in the Marine Corps before deciding to hang up his boots and retire.
I made my first soap in 2010 and haven’t stopped since. There’s something mystical in the process of soap making when raw materials are combined and in just a few hours solid mass forms. For me, there’s nothing more creative and satisfying than crafting soap, where two worlds art & science come together.
After crafting hundreds of batches, I discovered that natural soap bars are not only my form of artistic expression, but also practical, skin-loving products that genuinely improve skin health. Inspired by this realization, I decided to open my shop—and that’s how Iriy Indeed was born.
The name Iriy comes from Slavic(my heritage) mythology and means a place of exceptional happiness and delight, where birds fly for the winter and souls after death. In one word, it means a paradise.
